The collar consists of a collar and a lace ruffle. The collar is made up of an appliqué with gold and silver metallic threads stitched through cardboard. Attached to the collar is a ruffle sewn from tulle ribbon, machine lace insert, and bobbin lace trim. The ruffle sections are sewn using stitched scallops.
