About product

The apron is likely sewn from the original hemp. The embroidery is stitched on hemp canvas, then sewn onto cotton factory canvas dyed with indigo. The embroidery is sewn with coarse cotton thread and unshrunk silk. It is made with stitches according to thread count. Stitches used: smooth stitching, shaping, cutout, French knot. Two apron pieces are joined by sewn factory tape. The apron is edging all around and attached to wider braid lace made of cotton threads on the bottom, narrower on the sides. The apron is gathered and sewn into a casing in the waist, which forms the factory fabric on the front side. Haras tapes are sewn to the casing to tie the apron.
