Fabric woven from thin bleached linen threads decorated with white cotton thread, through which various geometric motifs are woven. The fabric is likely a part of the sash worn by women in Ždiar as part of their festive attire. The fabric is woven using a decorative weaving technique – the so-called Ždiar’s rantuch weave, in which a thicker yarn was interwoven with the warp and weft threads to create three-dimensional geometric or floral patterns. This technique was used for decorating sashes as well as aprons.
