The cap is made of 3 rectangles of factory canvas, sewn together with a connecting seam, with factory fabric inserted in between. At the center of the middle rectangle, a strip of red patterned calico is stitched on top. The embroidery thread is colored wool. The top part of the cap is gathered and sewn with a rectangle of patterned calico. The embroidery on the front of the cap is stitched with cross-stitches and chain stitches. The front edge is hemmed. A fold is sewn at the bottom.
