The bonnet is made of three rectangles of factory canvas, which are stitched together with a joining stitch. The gathered part of the bonnet is sewn with a rectangle of bobbin lace. The embroidery is stitched with unbleached silk thread. Cross and back stitches are used, as well as two lines of chain stitch. The front edge of the bonnet is finished with a looped hem. A folded edge for inserting the ribbon is sewn at the bottom.
