The bonnet is made from a single rectangle of factory canvas. The top of the bonnet is trimmed and stitched with a rectangle of embossed cardboard. The trimming is reinforced with embroidery. The embroidery on the front of the bonnet is done in cross-stitch. The front edge is hemmed. Wool yarn is used for the embroidery. At the bottom, a fold is sewn for threading a cord. Parallel to the sewn fold is attached a factory fabric.
