The bonnet is sewn from two rectangles of factory canvas and three rectangles of white patterned cardboard. Strips of red patterned cardboard are sewn between the individual parts. The ruched part of the bonnet is stitched with a small rectangle of patterned cardboard. The embroidery is sewn with woolen thread using cross stitch, back stitch, and chain stitch. The embroidery is complemented by an attached strip of red fabric. The edge of the front part is hemmed. A fold is sewn at the bottom, through which a ribbon is threaded.
