The bonnet is made of two types of canvas, a thicker one with embroidery and another, thinner one. These parts of the canvas are sewn together with a connecting stitch. The embroidery is stitched with unsized silk thread according to thread count. Stitches used: cross stitch, loop stitch, chain stitch, and shaping. The gathered part is sewn with a small rectangle of bobbin lace.
