The bonnet is made of two rectangles of factory canvas and two rectangles of downy damask, which are stitched by a connecting seam. The top part of the stitched rectangles is gathered and sewn with a small rectangle of bobbin lace. The gathering is reinforced with embroidery. The front part of the bonnet is embroidered with unshirred silk. Stem and cost-saving full stitching are used. The front edge is hemmed. A fold for threading a cord is sewn at the bottom.
