The bonnet is sewn from two rectangles of factory canvas and a rectangle of down damask, which are sewn together by a connecting seam. The damask rectangle is divided by 3 lines of herringbone stitch and 2 lines imitating the connecting seam. The upper part of the sewn rectangles is gathered and sewn with a small rectangle of patterned red cardboard. The gathering is reinforced by embroidery. The bonnet is embroidered with wool yarn. On the front part, the embroidery is sewn with cross stitches and chain stitches. The front edge is scalloped, contoured with a curve. At the bottom, a fold is sewn to thread a cord through, in which a striped ribbon is threaded.
