The corset is made from smooth satin, lined with factory canvas. It is hand-sewn. Wool braid is sewn around the edges and pockets. The corset is embroidered with cross-stitch and chain stitch. Buttonholes are embroidered and not cut, white glass buttons are purely decorative. The edges of the front pieces are adorned with serged teeth made of wool.
