Pottery vessel of round shape, with one handle, hand-crafted on a potter’s wheel from white clay. Made according to traditional patterns of pottery production from the Gemer region. In the lower part under the neck, it is decorated with an applied decoration also known as “finger cord”, as well as a painted stripe decoration. These are made up of waves of various thicknesses, from dark brown and reddish-brown clay. The decoration is dominated by a thick band of reddish-brown clay, interrupted by an ornament, complemented by dots of black clay. The interior is glazed with a transparent glaze, while the neck and handle are glazed with green glaze on the outside. The majority of the vessel’s exterior is unglazed.
