A band woven on a board, twill weave. Made from light blue cotton thread, the weft is woven double. Location: Turie Pole. The bands were used to decorate sleeves, sewn onto skirts, coverings, shirts, aprons, and men’s shirts. For their strength, they were also used in economy for tying sacks, as straps and the like.
