About product
The pots are hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel, dome-shaped with holes. Once fired, coated with white opaque glaze, which is painted with a horizontal colored geometric or floral design – various variations, fired a second time in an electric ceramic kiln.
Vlastimil Havlíček trained at the Majolika Modra School of Applied Arts, where he worked for some time. In the 1980s, he became independent and worked for the ULUV (Center for Folk Art Production) as a majolica maker.
