The headband made of lace is a dense multi-paired lace hand-crocheted from thicker cotton yarn. One end is finished with a strip of red cardboard. Headbands from a straight lace strip were made in Liptov in the 19th century, crocheting in an arc was a matter of the 20th century, mainly the first half.
