The headband made of lace is a dense multi-pair lace handcrafted from thicker cotton yarn. One end is finished with sewn floral ribbon. Lace headbands made from a straight strip of lace were made in Liptov in the 19th century, while curved lace-making was a matter of the 20th century, mainly the first half.
