Headband made of needlepoint lace is thick multipair handcrafted lace from thicker cotton yarn. The ends are trimmed with a strip of red cardboard. Headbands from a straight lace strip were made in the Liptov region in the 19th century, arched lace-making was a matter of the 20th century, mainly the first half.
