About product
The blanket is embroidered on factory linen canvas with a regular warp of colored beads. Geometric motifs characterize the embroidery of Horehronie, dominated by squares embroidered with different colored threads. New simpler and more demanding embroidery techniques are applied. Ordinary and twisted cross-stitch, smoothing, cut and pea represent the basic techniques in Horehronie embroidery. In addition, many others are represented, such as chain stitch, meander, and curve.
She has been dedicated to embroidery since childhood. She uses techniques – cutwork, satin stitch, cross-stitch, seed stitch.
