Hand-turned on a potter’s wheel, with a narrow shaped neck, flattened into four sides, handle attached with slip, once fired, coated with white opaque glaze, decorated with vertical geometric design painted in majolica colors, second firing in an electric ceramic kiln
Vlastimil Havlíček trained at the Majolika Modra School of Applied Arts, where he worked for some time. In the 1980s, he became independent and worked for the ULUV (Center for Folk Art Production) as a majolica maker.
