About product
Commonly called a pitcher jug according to its shape. Handmade on a potter’s wheel with a narrow-shaped neck, flattened into four walls, once fired, coated with white opaque glaze, on which vertical geometric decor is painted with majolica colors, fired for the second time in an electric ceramic kiln.
Vlastimil Havlíček trained at the Majolika Modra School of Applied Arts, where he worked for some time. In the 1980s, he became independent and worked for the ULUV (Center for Folk Art Production) as a majolica maker.
