About product
The pots are hand-thrown on a pottery wheel, domed and closed with holes. Fired once, glazed with white covering glaze, onto which a horizontal colored geometric or floral decoration is painted – various variations, fired a second time in an electric ceramic kiln.
Vlastimil Havlíček trained at the Majolika Modra School of Applied Arts, where he worked for some time. In the 1980s, he became independent and worked for the ULUV (Center for Folk Art Production) as a majolica maker.
