The shirt made of homemade canvas is embroidered with thick cotton thread. The sleeves are attached to the body with a joining seam. Both sides of the seam are sewn with lace and a waved line. The sleeve ends are pleated, with a pre-drawn embroidery done over the folds using a full stitch and chain stitch. Narrow cuffs and a small collar are embroidered with a full stitch, edges trimmed with sewn scallops. The hem edges are secured with a hemming stitch. The top part of the shirt (shoulders) is lined with canvas.
