The homemade linen shirt is embroidered with thicker cotton thread. The sleeves are stitched with a running stitch to the yoke part of the shirt. On both sides of the stitch, there is a pea embroidery and a pre-drawn botanical ornament. The sleeve ends are pleated and embroidery is done over the folds. Full stitch, tailoring chain stitch, and back stitch are used. The narrow cuffs and collar are fully embroidered, with edges finished with decorative stitches. The shirt slit is hemmed and stitched with a small running stitch. The upper part of the shirt (shoulders) is also lined with linen. The whole shirt is hand-sewn.
