The garment is sewn by machine from homemade cotton canvas. The front part has a folded slit that fastens with metal snaps. Originally sewn on the narrow fastening edge were colored buttons. Tiny loops are sewn around the fastening, with embroidery placed in between. The embroidery bands are sewn according to the counting method, with small holes sewn between the counted flowers. The cuffs, collar, and placket are topstitched by machine. The embroidery is made with white pearl thread.
