The shirt is made of home-woven canvas, the shoulder lining is made of thicker canvas. The collar and sleeve cuffs are made of patterned fabric woven from cotton yarn. Stylized birds form the pattern on the cuffs. The edges of the cuffs are finished with decorative stitching and crocheted teeth. The stitching and teeth are made of multicolored wool yarn.
