The shirt is made of thin factory canvas. It is richly embroidered on the shoulders, cuffs, and collar. It is mainly placed on both sides of the bobbin lace, which connects the shirt’s yoke to the sleeves. The bobbin lace is 5 cm wide. It is edged with embroidered eyelets, pea stitch, and again pre-drawn embroidery with eyelets. Pre-drawn embroidery is also on the narrow cuffs and on the canvas, which is sewn on the folded ends of the sleeves. Stitches used: full flat, eyelets, backstitch, enveloping curve, tailor’s chain stitch. The cuffs and collar have teeth stitched in the edge. A half-silk ribbon for tying is sewn to the collar, and a patterned ribbon to the cuffs.
