About product
High jug for milk of cylindrical shape, commonly known as milk pitcher. It is made according to traditional models of pottery production from the Gemer region. Hand-turned on a potter’s wheel from white clay. In the section below the neck, it is decorated with a painted band decoration, consisting of lines and waves of various thicknesses, from dark brown and reddish-brown clay. The decoration is dominated by a thick strip of brown paint, through which the ornament is interrupted. The interior is glazed with a transparent glaze, while the neck and handle are glazed with green glaze on the outside. The larger part of the vessel on the outside is unglazed.
