About product
Hand-woven duvet cover hand-sewn with hemp thread. The warp and weft threads are made of hemp, the patterning is done with red cotton thread. The base weave is twill, the patterned bands are made with twill, herringbone weave, and darning. The bands widen towards the fold (flap) of the duvet. The ornamentation is geometric and botanical – stars, squares, clover leaf. The cover has been worn in several places, one hole remains unplastered, the others are patched up.
