About product
Ceramic faience pitcher “owl”, made from red clay, wheel-thrown. The widest indentation at the bottom third of the height, slightly conical neck sealed and terminated with a narrow neck, handle emerging from the neck (broken – missing!). Decoration: two large bouquets of flowers made up of three buds and leaves (mica), stripes and waves on the neck and lower part of the belly. Dating on the belly: 1875. Color: blue and yellow decoration on white background glaze. Marking at the bottom: S. Damaged: broken handle, damaged edge of the neck.
