About product
Fajans ceramic plate, wheel thrown. Low walls are curved under the rim. Decor: bird in floral design at the center /sunflower, buds, and leaves/, alternating with floral design /two sunflowers/ and lattice around the perimeter. Colors: yellow, blue, green, dark brown outline. Glaze has a yellowish tint. Marking on the bottom: Labaj, Ľubietová, 1959.
He apprenticed at the Modra workshop. He devoted himself to producing traditional shapes of majolica products with Habanese patterns, especially carved plates. He became active from 1941.
