About product
Handmade pot with one handle, hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel from white clay. Made according to traditional patterns of pottery production from the Gemer region. Decorated with painted band decoration in the section below the neck, consisting of lines and waves of various thicknesses, made from dark brown and reddish-brown clay. The decoration is dominated by a thick band of reddish-brown line, with an interrupted ornament crossing over it. The interior is glazed with a transparent glaze, while the neck and handle are glazed with a green glaze. The larger part of the vessel on the outside is unglazed.
He learned the craft of Slovak folk majolica in Modra, actively starting production in 1985
