Traditionally called a pitcher – spout is hand-turned on a potter’s wheel with a shaped mouth into a spout – groove through which liquid is poured. Painted on the sides is a plant motif with colored clays, transparent colorless glaze, or poured with transparent (brown) inside and brown glaze outside.
