The jug, popularly called a “pyskáč”, is handcrafted on a potter’s wheel with a shaped mouth in the form of a spout – a channel through which liquid is poured. It is coated with white clay on the outside, painted with a plant motif in colored clays, and finished with a transparent colorless glaze.
