Hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel from reddish-brown clay, glazed with white slip covering three quarters of the surface, decorated with a simple geometric pattern applied with a tool (rib) using colored slips – pulled spiral, dots, three dots, or other designs. Possible color variations including negative – dark brown to black glaze. After the first firing, glazed with a transparent colorless glaze and fired for the second time.
