Sheep-shaped vase
A vase cast from pale stoneware clay. Its body has a bulbous shape, a narrow neck with straight walls. It is adorned with a black matte glaze on the bottom and sheep hand-painted with glazes. The rest of the outer wall is unglazed, highlighting the natural color of the clay. High-firing stoneware ensures high utility properties.
Zoja Golomboši is a Ukrainian who has been living in Slovakia with her family for many years. She actively creates in Bratislava, where she now has her own studio and fully devotes herself to her work and hobby in one – she creates ceramic jewelry and utility ceramics. She has been dedicated to the craft since 1987, gaining experience at the Secondary Vocational School of Ceramics. She uses various techniques in her work – modeling, wheel throwing, and molding.
