The skirt is made of 2 rectangular and 8 trapezoidal halves of factory canvas. The upper part is pleated and reinforced with embroidery. It is sewn into a panel, which has a hem on the front side and forms a lining on the back side of the embroidered part of the pleats. The front side of the panel is embroidered with satin stitching and chain stitch. The edges are hand-stitched with orange thread and at the attachment point to the skirt. Ties made of homemade linen are sewn onto the panel. The skirt is hand-sewn.
