The skirt is made of 4 panels of indigo print with a small yellow and green pattern. The fifth, front panel, is made of striped linen. The indigo print panels are stitched with a connecting stitch. The bottom edge is hemmed with red patterned calico. The skirt’s edge has teeth sewn in rows above each other. Above the edge, the skirt is decoratively topstitched by machine. An ornamental belt of sewn teeth is also above the lower edge. The skirt is gathered and sewn into an envelope waistband, which has a back part of quilted corduroy. Gypsy ribbons are stitched to the envelope.
