The skirt is made from 8 trapezoids of factory canvas, the ninth, front panel, is rectangular, with a slit in the center. The skirt is gathered at the waist, with embroidery done over the gathering. Above the embroidery, the skirt is inset into a facing, of which only a small part is on the right side, most of it is on the wrong side. The lower edge of the skirt is hand-finished.
