The sleeves are made of two types of domestic hemp canvas, with the sleeves made from the thinner one. At the top part of the sleeves, a wide, multi-thread lace is horizontally sewn. The lace is complemented on both sides by embroidery following the thread count. Geometric motifs are embroidered with satin stitches and cross stitches. Thicker, unbleached hemp thread is used for embroidery. The sleeve ends are pleated, and gypsy fabric made of hemp yarn is sewn over the pleats.
