The sleeves have a shoulder part made of factory cotton canvas and the sleeves are made of domestic cotton fabric with a piqué weave pattern. The piqué pattern is made of green rickrack on the shoulders, cuffs, and collar. The gathering on the front and sleeves is reinforced with embroidery. A ruffle of white machine embroidery is sewn onto the sleeve cuffs.
