The sleeves are made of homemade hemp canvas. The sleeves are gathered at the bottom and sewn into a cuff, which is embroidered with two rows of stitches and crosses. Two rows of crosses are also embroidered on the shoulder pieces at the side of the sleeves. The upper part of the sleeves is gathered and attached to the body piece. The area where the sleeves are attached to the tent is reinforced with a strip of canvas.
