They are made of homemade linen. Embroidery is done on the sleeves and collar with thick cotton thread. The centerpiece of the embroidery on the shoulder is a pea motif. It is surrounded by a pre-drawn botanical ornament. The collar is embroidered with small crosses. The sleeves are finished with pleats and reinforced with embroidery. The back part of the sleeves is attached to the collar with a connecting seam. A white bobbin lace from the old highlands was originally sewn onto the collar.
