Sleeves have a sleeve part made of factory cotton canvas and sleeves made of home hemp. The sleeves are embroidered with a cutwork embroidery with white cotton thread. Embroidery is made with red and black wool thread using stem stitch, satin stitch, knot stitch, and chain stitch. This type of embroidery also follows the orthogonal crossing of threads, it is not stitched purely based on thread counting, nor based on pre-drawing. The ends of the sleeves are lined with dense bobbin lace.
