The sleeves are made of homegrown hemp canvas. They are embellished with embroidery based on thread count. Techniques used: smoothing, shaping, cutting out, pea stitch. The sleeve ends are gathered and the gathering is secured with embroidery. The embroidery is sewn with thick white cotton thread. The sleeves are sewn with a connecting seam on the cuff section. The cuff section is gathered. Originally, a lace border was also sewn on the collar.
