Sleeves are made of thin factory canvas. The embroidery used is cut out from the original sleeves and sewn onto new canvas with small, dense loop stitching. Since it was embroidered with silk, which could not be washed, the embroidery was repurposed in this way. The pre-drawn embroidery is divided by rows of satin stitch and French knots. Stitches used: satin stitch and stem stitch. The sleeve ends are gathered and sewn into a narrow cuff, which is also embroidered with satin stitch.
