The small wire mirror is part of a collection of mirrors of various sizes and shapes. The frames are made using wire craft techniques from blackened wires. A dense linear weave of bare steel wire was mainly used in the technique. The basic shape is circular, with the structure and weaving being shaped, rounded, or having a more angular character. The aim of creating the collection of wire mirrors was to preserve traditional wire craft techniques, bring them to the attention of the wider public, and use them in a new home accessory suitable for modern interiors
