About product
The bodice is sewn from silk damask, lined with hemp canvas. The edges are trimmed with a skirt strip and stitching. Velvet ribbons are attached to the bodice. They are separated by a line embroidered with chain stitch. The front parts are reinforced, possibly with thicker paper. The bodice was fastened with metal hooks and eyes, which are sewn above the waistband. The bodice is hand-sewn.
