The bodice from silk damask is lined with cotton factory canvas. The appliqué is made from gathered strips of bodice material and lace crochet, which is made from silver-colored metallic threads. Tin brooches, used for decoration, are sewn on the edges of the front pieces. The bodice fastened with one button and buttonhole on a belt. It is sewn and quilted by hand.
