Svorový pitcher – cylindrical container with a sturdy handle, wooden bottom of conifer, flat handle ornately profiled using architectural decorative elements – three symmetrical holes arranged vertically for fingers on the flat surface, in the upper part a “rosette with four symmetrical heart-shaped holes, topped with a tower. The handle attached to the upper edge of the body is fastened to it in the lower part with a perimeter brass strip adorned with embossed intertwining waves.
He grew up in the Upper Nitra village of Jalovec and remained connected to this environment throughout his life. Wood had a scent for him from childhood. His father could make everything for the farm, and during the winter months he wove loom baskets...
