In everyday life, as well as in our professional work, we come across expressions which bring us new facts and become a necessary part of how we express an opinion on a given subject. When using a specific word, it is not only its content which is important but also the semantic connotations of the concept. The artist considers the concept of shape (tvar) and – in close affinity – the meaning of the word face (tvár). He describes the relationship between folk art, craft and design and a modern expression of art and their overlapping and mutual influence.
